Privacy Policy

Virraly is an AI-powered carousel content generation app created and operated by Akshit Sethi, an individual developer. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Akshit Sethi. If you have any questions, you can contact us at privacy@virraly.in.

We collect only what is necessary to operate Virraly:

• Account data — your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
• Prompt inputs — the topic, audience, and tone you provide when generating carousel content. These are processed to produce your output and stored to display your history.
• Generated content — the carousel slides produced by the AI on your behalf, stored in your account.
• Usage data — the number of generations you perform, timestamps, and subscription tier, used for billing and abuse prevention.
• Device & technical data — IP address, device type, OS version, and app version, collected automatically for security and diagnostics.
• Payment data — handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your card details.

• We do not collect files, images, or media uploads.
• We do not collect data from your device's contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
• We do not collect data about your behavior on other apps or websites.

• To authenticate you and operate your account.
• To generate carousel content using your prompt inputs via an AI model (currently Anthropic Claude).
• To manage your subscription and enforce usage limits.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
• To detect fraud, abuse, or misuse of the service.
• To improve the service based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

We use the following third-party processors. Your data may be processed by them as part of operating Virraly:

• Anthropic — processes your prompt inputs (topic, audience, tone) to generate content. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Supabase — stores your account data and generated content. Hosted on AWS infrastructure.
• Cloudflare — hosts and routes API traffic. May process IP addresses and request metadata.
• Apple / Google — handles in-app subscription billing if you subscribe via the App Store or Play Store.

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

Your account data and generated content are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Regardless of your location, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your generated content before deletion.
• Withdraw consent for any optional data processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@virraly.in. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing your data is: (a) contract performance — to provide the service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — for security and abuse prevention; and (c) consent — for any optional communications. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Virraly is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of Virraly after that date constitutes acceptance.
